And it's a Dell ... In Las Vegas at the CES demonstrated a PC that seriously will get your gaming juices flowing for sure. It is the all new DELL XPS 600 Renegade and it has been equipped with a Quad SLI configuration of GeForce 7800 GTX graphics units. Basically it consists out of two times two cards with each two GPUs and "each" card has a Gig, this 2x 512 MB on-board.
Now I can't say it like that, but that's a 2 GB, 96 active pipelines 41 Gigapixels monster. See .. now you can play your games at 2560x1200 with 32x anti-aliasing .. the 32x is no joke btw. Quad SLI officially will be introduced into the new ForceWare 90 series drivers.
Now since we are not just talking about the graphics cards here I'll continue. The PC has been equipped with the new 65nm dual-core Pentium Extreme Edition 3.46 GHZ (955)but ... it's overclocked towards 4.26 GHz. Now surprize .. even with such a CPU there can never be enough processor computing power to feed the QUAD configuration, no way.
Next to that 2 GB dual channel memory at 667 MHz, a Raptor 150 GB HD, two SATA 250 GB HD's. All that is seated onto an NFORCE 4 X16 backplane. Oh yeah, Logitech keyboard, Klipsch sound system, Plextor burner, X-Fi soundcard and a PC casing that is airbrushed.
The system has not been tagged with a price, but yes .. you'll likely have to sell a kidney (probably both of them) or something to be able to afford this. But Dell or not .. that's a thing of beauty.
