Game of Thrones pelo quarto ano consecutivo, é a série com mais indicações nas categorias, somando 23 no total, seguido pela série The People v. O.J. Simpson com 22 e Fargo com 18 indicações.

A 68ª edição do Emmy Awards acontece no dia 18 de setembro com apresentação de Jimmy Kimmel.
