Screens Saints Row 2 (PS3/X360)

While there has no official announcement yet, THQ confirmed that the next title in the Saints Row franchise is in development at Volition. The Saints Row PS3 port has been canceled in favor of a simultaneous release on both platforms of the sequel. The game will utilize Volition’s proprietary open-world engine and deliver an all-new, cross platform gaming experience.

Saints Row 2 Announced with Online Co-Op

Publisher THQ today officially announced Saints Row 2, developer Volition's return to the open-ended world of Stilwater. In development for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the sequel is set for a 2008 release.

Among its host of new and improved features are two-player online co-op throughout the entire campaign and and open-world competitive multiplayer mode THQ says is "never before seen in the genre," along with expanded gender, age, voice, crib and gang customization.

Of course, the game's city has been redesigned, and now features a number of new vehicles, such as boats, planes, motorcycles, and helicopters.

"Saints Row 2 has a much darker and more sinister story that leads your character down a path of betrayal, revenge and redemption against the city that has left him for dead, although we've blended that with the same light-hearted humor from the original," said lead designer Greg Donovan. "Couple that with the most robust open-world feature set ever developed in the genre, and Saints Row 2 promises a gaming experience that will offer players the perfect balance of gripping narrative and compelling gameplay options." shacknews

Gostei do MP Coop... GTA nem MP tem !

Vamos ver.. rs. O primeiro eu até curti, mas joguei pouco e enjoei.. Um MP+COOP com certeza vai dar um "gás" pra jogar.

Porque depois de Vice City eu não me empolguei com nenhum jogo do Gênero?

San Andreas pra mim foi um lixo, joguei até chegar em San Fierro, depois não animei fazer mais nada, pra mim era uma historia totalmente idiota e cliche, o jogo não me colocou em clima algum (se é que existe algum clima no jogo), achei o jogo total sem carisma! Joguei o The Godfather, achei uma cópia totalmente mal feita de Mafia!

Cheguei a jogar Scarface, até me animou! Não cheguei a fechar (preciso pegar ele denovo), mas ao menos o jogo tem um pingo (quase nada) de clima e é um pouco bem feito! Mas continuo achando que não vou chegar até o final dele e vou desanimar também!

Vendo as screens desse Saints Row vejo que vou continuar por muito tempo sem jogar algo do Gênero!

O unico que boto esperanças agora é o Mafia 2! Que não tem nem data de lançamento anunciada! GTA IV eu não me empolguei nem um pouco, pra mim não vai passar de um San Andreas em Liberty City, com graficos de nova geração... talvez o dia que fizerem um Vice City 2 eu anime novamente! :)
