Stranglehold é um jogo de ação em terceira pessoa cuja fórmula soma essencialmente elementos de tiro e um enredo temperado pela vingança. Você joga na pele de "Tequila" Yuen, um homem que busca vingança pelo assassinato de sua família, cometido por membros das máfias chinesa e russa. Qualquer semelhança não é mera coincidência — o game é baseado no filme Hard Boiled, de John Woo, lançado em 1992.

Uma das maiores funções do jogo é o modo "Tequila Time", uma espécie de slow motion no estilo Max Payne que aumenta a precisão dos disparos e o dramatismo da cena, é claro. Grande parte dos cenários podem ser destruídos ou utilizados de alguma forma para ajudá-lo. Uma mesa, por exemplo, pode se tornar uma perfeita barricada, enquanto um lustre pode ser usado para cruzar um grande rapidamente.

Amanhã depois de jogar mais um pouco eu coloco um comentário completo sobre o jogo, o que eu posso dizer é que pra quem gosta de ação é um jogo indispensável.

vale cada mega, o jogo como eu disse pra quem gosta de ação é um excelente jogo, eu muitas vezes comparei ele com MAX Payne mas quebrei a cara, o jogo tem alguns elementos parecidos mas eu posso dizer que um não tem nada haver com o outro, tem umas skills que o personagem pega no decorrer que são animais, uma mira de longa distancia que quando vc atira vc acompanha a bala, uma skill quando accionada enche seu life, outra que fica tudo em camera lenta e vc solta o dedo no gatilho, muito massa o jogo.

ouvi dizer que são 6 fases, mas essas 6 fases são subdivididas em varias missões, creio que umas 10 horas de gameplay sem morrer.

Comecei a jogar hoje, to na 3 fase... to adorando o jogo !!!!!!!
Os efeitos sao muito boms, principalmente os usados nas habilidades, o lance de matar todo mundo de uma soh vez na tela eh show !

humilhar eu não diria pq apesar de usar recursos parecidos os dois jogos tem estilos diferentes, eu finalizei ele hoje, achei uma coisa muito estranha nele, na primeira fazer vc faz diversos combos com placas e telhados caindo em cima de dos oponentes, nas fases seguinte eu num vi nenhuma placa nem nada pra derrubar em ninguém, foda, tinha tudo pra fazer estragos nas fases e ficou só na bala mesmo.

Eu tambem percebi a mesma coisa, no começo existe varios objetos para derrubar em cima dos inimigos, mas logo depois nao se usa mais esse recurso, deveriam usar mais, imagina na fase do Museu a cabeça de um dinossauro cair em cima de um bando de oponentes ia ser legal hehehe.
