[C&C3] Demo lançada, com direito a hands-on

Electronic Arts has announced that a demo for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, the next installment of this legendary series developed by EALA for PC and Xbox 360, will be released on February 20th. The game features a single player campaign that rewards you for your gameplay style, native voice-over IP, integrated clan support and new spectator modes. Joe Kucan, the original actor who portrayed the character Kane in Command & Conquer (C&C) games over the last decade, is reprising once again his role as the megalomaniacal leader of the Brotherhood of Nod. Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars will hit the store shelves on March 30th.

3 meses atras eu perdi minha vga e um pente de memo, to com medo de não conseguir rodar

pior ainda é q no system requirements lab da página da EA ainda não tem o game pra verificar

Hey guys,

Alright, all this commotion! My gosh, relax my friends, the demo is on its way, but it is NOT coming today. We have not announced the official date of the demo and all of the gaming sites reporting on its intended release date have been incorrect and stemming from the mistaken FilePlanet news.

So here is the deal, I am not privy to announce a release date for our demo yet so I cannot put myself in hot water here understandably ) That said, we will be announcing VERY SOON the release date of the demo. It is coming sooner than you think, but I will say right now as well, its not coming tomorrow either.

I will keep you guys posted, expect an announcement very soon. If possible, we try and make that announcement today.

As I am sure you understand, the last thing we want to do is make an announcement that isn't 100% accurate which is why I'm not going to make any good educated guesses here even though...I know, hehe.

So, please, no more demo threads, sit tight, its on its way very...very soon.

February 26 update: EA says the C&C3 demo (1.17 GB) will be available today after 10AM PST (5PM GMT) on commandandconquer.com and fileplanet.



EA has revealed the Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars PC demo will be released today. Build mobile bases, wield the power of terrifying Ion Storms on the battlefield, or customize your armies by combining units. Battle it out online with native VOIP, integrated clan support, and new spectator modes that let you play RTS games like a sport. The infamous Kane has returned to lead the Brotherhood of Nod in a massive global assault on the Global Defense Initiative and the few remaining Blue zones left on the planet. Only you can stop him. The fate of humanity and the planet is in your hands. Featuring state-of-the-art, next-generation graphics, an epic story with live action, full-motion video sequences, and the classic fast-paced C&C style of play, C&C 3 aims to give you a great single player RTS experience.

In 2047, Tiberium has blanketed the Earth, which is now divided into zones based on the level of Tiberium infestation. Pristine Blue Zones represent 20% of the planet’s surface and are the last refuge of the civilized world. Partially habitable Yellow Zones make up 50% of the planet’s surface; most of the world’s population lives in these war-torn and ecologically ravaged areas. The remaining 30% of the planet is uninhabitable, a Tiberium wasteland swept by violent Ion Storms. Red Zones are like the surface of an Alien planet.

The release date is set for: March 28th, 2007, on PC in America. No PC release date for anywhere else, but everyone worldwide will be able to download the C&C3 demo on February 26th. The Xbox 360 version will follow a few months after the PC release, no word yet on an Xbox Live demo.

February 20 update: Sadly the date WP reported was unofficial. EA clarifies: “A lot of confusion has been stirring about the release of our demo. For starters, it is not releasing today. We should have a public demo news alert going out very soon that will explain exactly when the demo is coming out. All I can tell you is that its looking good for sooner than later.” We’d expect the demo in the next week.
